L2 Visa Processing

Hi Team ,

Scenario : My Wife is working in a company on L1 Visa (Valid upto January 2018) and i want to proceed for my L2 Visa processing.
It will be very helpful if anybody can help me with the following quetions :

1.Can i apply for EAD while being in India through Email (from India only without leaving my job) ?
2.If my wife travels back to India before her Visa Expires , do i also need to travel back to India ?
3.If she comes for 2 months to India and then after that come back to US ,During this period am i eligible to work in US ?

Any suggestionss/answers will be highly apreciated.

1. No, you need a valid I94 to start the EAD process.
2. For short duration it's fine, but longer durations, you need to return with her.
3. As long as she is able to get a confirmation letter from her employer that she is returning within 2 months, it should be fine.
