My sister and her son are on L2 visa in USA.
They plan to visit India during summer vacation and need to revalidate
their visas. I have the following two questions.
Q1) Can they take appointment at any US consulate in India ?
Q2) Are they eligible for emergency appointment? The vfs site says
“H and L visa renewals for applicants who are already working in the U.S and are returning to their jobs” is eligible for emergency appointment"
It does not mention anything about their spouse/kids.
