I had an extension interview today for L1B and my visa got approved. Sharing my details on the same:
1. in case of L1B individual interview, your petition is already approved. So, you feel bit safer but still a last hurdle is still ON for approval.
2. Prepare your petition answers yourself so that you are well aware of the case.
For interview, below are the questions I was asked:
1. Keep approval notice along with passport which you would hand over to VO.
Q1. Which company do you work for ?
Q2. which visa did you apply for ?
Q3. What is the specialization? (This is must and you should prepare for this in any case)
Q4. tell me more on specialization and what you do? (answer based on your petition)
Q5. Any dependents travelling?
And then the golden words, "Your visa is approved"
Guys, suggestion is prepare well for this interview as its is not easy like H1B. be through and use generic terms while answering.
