221g Blue slip for L2 Visa in Chennai

Hi,

My wife attended her interview today in Chennai consulate, she had overstayed her previous L2 by 11 months or so (in 2009-10, so its well beyond 3 year bar). The VO issues 221g Blue slip and retained the passport, for adminstrative processing.

He didnt ask for any additional documents or new interviews.

Have anyone received 221g for L2? what was your experience?
What is the approval rate?
I understand these AP process would take months to revert? Had anyone got it sooner?

We are anxious to know about this. Please help

Hi,

My spouse visa is finally approved this week. Advice is, start following-up once 60 day limit is over.

In my case, they updated only when I followed up with them, though it was approved 3 weeks back.
