L1B Max Out clarification

I have worked
2 years - (2010- 2012 december) on L1B, then moved to UK London and worked there for 2.5 years till June 2015.
I got new L1B stamped in UK and travelled on it back to USA on
July 2015.

My question if my 5 years period got reset when i travelled on new L1B on July 2015

i.e is my max out date now will somewhere in 2020 (plus any outside usa days)
OR
My previous period of 2 years will included while calculating max out effectively making it somewhere in 2018.

What was the time gap between your exit on L1 blanket and application of the L1 individual petition?

It was more than 1.5 years..

Just for information, if the 2nd visa would have been new L1b blanket ( same type as original), still clock would be reset right as it would be new visa.
