H1 and L1B Visa

Hi All ,

Need your help.

I have stayed on H1b for 2 years and then stayed out of US for 1.5 years.
After that i have got L1B visa and stayed in USA for 4 years. Both the Visas are from the same company.

Now my question is if i can i use my H1B visa under Cap exempt category for the remaining 4 years ? or my L1B stay will also be counted towards the 6 years of H1b and thus i have maxed out.

If you use the previous H1 the L1 and H1 stay will be considered, if you file fresh H1 only the L1 will be considered.
