  • L2 stamping question

    Hi,
I am currently staying in US on L1 extension. My wife is having L2 and she is working on valid L2 EAD. She has to go to home country to visit her parents. As she does not have valid VISA, she has to attend consulate for stamping.
    1. Can she claim in DS 160 that she is working? Because in recent days, if dependent claim they are working or they are willing to work, consulate is moving the dependent application to administrative processing.
    2. What if she mention that, she is not working, in DS 160?

I dont think that there is any basis for the claim of dependent going through admin processing just because they say they work

I don't see a reason for lying on a federal form. One can have serious repercussions if caught lying.

This is my opinion not legal advice.
