L2 Visa - Need help or information to apply EAD

Hello Friends, I got my L2 Visa when my husband got his L1B visa. My I94 is valid for next 1.5 years. We were planning to apply for my EAD and, last week he got a new L1A Visa.

At this situation, can I extend my I94 date with respect to my husband's new I94 date and apply for EAD or should I get a new L2 Visa before applying EAD. Please suggest.
