Confusion with Spouse/ Kid Visa Category - Primary L1-B or L1- Individual

Hi,

I am currently in US and on my US Visa the class mentioned is L1. There is no type there.
Also in Annotation it says: "Must present I-797 at POE".

My I-797B says my visa class is L1B. But I think that my Visa is actually L1 Individual.

So my question is:
When I apply for Visa for my spouse/kid, what shall be the visa type of the primary applicant?

My concern is primarily because of the conflicts in Passport vs I-797, both of which are needed during Visa Interview.

Passport will always mention L1 irrespective of L1A or L1B, additionally your petition# will be mentioned on visa in your passport, which is used to identify additional visa details.

Now coming to your question of Individual or Blanket. Look at your I797 carefully on the top under "Beneficiary" section, if it's mentioned "Blanket" then yours is L1B Blanket.
If your name is mentioned under "Beneficiary" then it's Individual.
