L1-A Visa Extension versus New Apply
Hello,
I am currently staying in the USA with L1-A visa. My visa is getting an expired first term of 3 years in next July 2017. I was seeking for the extension as I can stay up to another 4 years in this visa. However, my company legal department is suggesting to go to India and apply for a new blanket visa as I did 3 years ago rather than applying for an extension in USCIS.
So..I was looking for suggestions for pros and cons of this.
Looking at the current situation after the new president in the USA, what should I do?
