L1B to L1A and L1B extension for days abroad
Good morning, I am in an L1B visa which was first issued in August 2012 and was extended in June 2015. The visa will expire in June 2018. Since 2012, I have worked abroad a total of 1 year (being overseas on business trips).
Two questions:
1. How can I apply for an L1A (my employer is willing to give me a managerial role), what are the conditions to do so when coming from an L1B?
2. In the meantime, can the L1B visa be extended based on the time I was abroad?
