L1A New Offices

Hi

With a L1A visa I understand that you can apply for a GC as soon as you get the L1A, I assume that it's not the case if your L1A is to open a New Office in the US, seeing as you have to apply for the visa again after 1 year and you have to prove the business is operational?
Also want to know how many people you need to employ in the first year, I believe it's 3 but does that include myself as manager or myself + 3 US citizens?

You need to plan to employ enough people in the course of a year to support a managerial/executive position. That requires two or three hierarchical levels of employees below the manager/executive. A three person office will not meet that requirement
