L1A visa and studying

Hi,

I will be applying for L1A visa shortly and i qualify for the same. I would appreciate some responses to certain questions on studying with L1A visa.

1. If I get into US on F1 (student visa), can I then convert into L1A visa in 6 months time?
2. I am in an executive position currently with my employer in India. Can I continue to be employed in this Indian company while I study in the US?

If you are applying for L1A visa, why don't you study on that? Why do you want to apply/enter on F1 visa?
