Hello,
We came to the US on L1A/L2 visa, a family of 2 adults and 3 children (all under 6). I got my status adjusted from L1A to green card back last summer and I now have the GC dated July 31, 2016. My family (wife and 3 children) were on vacation during summer so missed the fingerprint and rescheduled it. They eventually did the finger print late last August and they have been waiting for the green card ever since.
I just got a great offer from a new employer and planning on accepting it, but worried about the status of the green card for my family now.
1. Any idea if I leave the employer who actually sponsored my L1, how does this affect the L2 of my family?
2. Will the L2s still be valid? If not, what do we need to do in case I accepted the offer and left the current employer?
Thanks.
