Extension of I94 on L1

Hi, I am in the US on L1 since Jan 2004. My L1 and the I94 expired on Nov 15, 2005. My company applied for the extension of my I94 in Sep 2005. Consulate requested for more information (RFE) which was provided in Mar 2006. I have not heard anything more from the consulate. How long should I wait to hear anything from them before calling them up? If my extension is rejected, how much time will I have before I have to leave the country?
