I got my L1B blanket visa stamped on June 2014. The visa expires on 01 June 2017. My company filed for extension of visa and got an individual 797 approved with a start date 02 June 2017 to June 2019. I ma planning to go to india on May 18 and planing to apprar for interview on May 20th for renewal stamping. My Questions are
1. Will my current Blanket visa stamping (ending 01 June) be cancelled and updated with new individual stamping?
2. What will be the validity (start date) of my new stamping as this will be stamped as individual petition based on the receipt that has a start date of 2nd June . In that case, will I be out of status between May 20 and 02 June and cannot reenter US before June ?
