Is applying for the L1B Blanket better after getting RFE for L1B individual

L1B individual was approved by USCIS 3 years ago. Recently after applying for individual extension I got an RFE for “specialized knowledge”.

Lawyer is giving me two options 1) Respond to the RFE 2) Go back to India and apply at the consulate with a fresh blanket petition.

Which option is better ?

RFE is very common on L1B applications. Specially if it was filed under premium category.

All that UCSIS wants to verify is that yours is indeed special knowledge. Answering all the questions in RFE usually helps it get thru.

Sad that your lawyer is asking you to go back.
