L1 & L2 Together or separate

Greeting Everyone!

I have to schedule my L1B Visa appointment in Chennai Consulate next month. HR has adviced that you can complete your VISA process first and then apply for L2 for your family from Mumbai once it is granted saving family travel to Chennai (I am based in Mumbai). What should be the preferred way about this> Is it advisable to go with your family and get it done or apply separately after VISA is granted.

There is no difference, you can go alone or with wife for L1 interview, but my suggestion is to go alone and clear interview first and then send wife for L2 interview.
The reason is, L1 B interview is stressful and you will want to give it alone , not with wife standing beside.

I have L1B visa and i am applying for L2 visa for my wife. In the visa appointment website, which option should i select for my wife's L2 visa?
1. L-2 (Blanket)
2. L-2 (individual)

What is the difference between above two options?

Please help ASAP.
