Hello and thanks in advance for any advice.
I'm from Ireland, I live in Missouri and I have an E2 visa. My wife has an L1 visa. I would like to change from the E2 visa to an L2 visa, plus an EAD, so that I can change job.
Is this a straightforward maneuver? Is it possible to apply for a change of status from E2 to L2, and simultaneously apply for an EAD? If I do so, will my current employer be informed at all?
If this is possible, does anybody have a feeling for how long the process might take - from having an E2, to having an L2 and an EAD?
