L2 EAD when L1B Extension is in process

Hi,

I have L1B visa with my employer, Petition will be expired (PED) by September 2017. My employer will be filing extension before September. My spouse has a Valid L2 visa with PED same as my L1B visa, and he has valid EAD and currently working. His L2 EAD is active until March 2019. Once my L1B visa expired in September 2017 and When extension is under process with USCIS, Can my spouse continue to work since his EAD is active/valid?

As long as his I-94 and EAD is valid (say until March 2019) he can continue to work. But if the i94 and EAD dates are different, you may need to contact your lawyers
