  • L1-A Individual Rejected in Embassy

My petitioner has applied for L1 individual for me. My petition was approved by USCIS. But, at the visa interview, it was rejected due to the following reasons:

    - I did not hold managerial capabilities (I was more into sales. In US, we are only establishing a Sales Unit, and have a very small firm.)
    - I think i was too young (and i was appointed as CEO of the subsidiary firm)
    - I had stayed in US for the B1 visa for 6 months (5 months and 29 days)

It is our family business, and i wanted to be in US to expand our business.

At the interview, i was told that the visa is denied under 221(g) (without any receipt). Now, it is currently showing as 'Administrative Processing' on the CEAC website.

Please advise me what can be done. Can we fight for it? If yes, how? And also, can we apply for any other visa category?

    Thanks in advance.

Given the facts, I'm surprised USCIS approved the petition in the first place

Keep your fingers crossed, it's in 221g they may yet issue you your visa

But now, what can be done for that? Do we need to do anything?
Also, at the end of interview, it was told as denied. Can we do something so that they might change their decision for that?

How can we know whether they have approved the visa, or denied?

And also, what are the procedures they will do?

      Thanks for the answer.
