Does it make sense to get through Labor Certification (PWD, PERM) if you're on L1-A?

Hi,

I have L1-A visa and my lawyer propose me to get through Labor Certification process, which is not required based on this article https:///eb-1-employment-based-green...nd-executives/
I understand that statement "Doesn't Require" doesn't mean that you cannot do this.

But does it add any value for further green card process at all?
Or I'm just wasting my time, since it takes 8 months minimum to get this Labor Certification.

Please help. Much appreciated.

Your employer may not be processing the green card in EB-1 category but EB-2 or EB-3.
