  • Any conflict when submitting both L1 & K1 for the same person oversea?

In short my question is whether there's problem in submitting both L1 & K1 for a person oversea. I am a US citizen. My story begins when I met my gf in US. Later on she got ICT transfer by her company to london UK. Now she's there for almost one year, there's a chance for her company to transfer her back to US using L1B. I want to find out if I submit K1 for her now, and later on her company files L1 for her, is there any conflict that will cause either the K1, or the L1 or both being denied by the US immigrant service? My hope is to file both together, whichever fast will get her sooner in US. Thanks in advance for any advice.

    Shouldn't be any conflict.

This is my personal opinion and is not to be construed as legal advice.

Thanks for the quick answer, that calms my mindset. I fully understood it's not a legal perspective advice yet just curious is there any number supporting the answer? For example, does any one know any successful case when applying for L1 & K1 together and then one of them(obviously the first one gets process through the end) got approval.

In general, there is no prohibition on holding multiple visas

The issue arises when applying for a particular visa that implies immigrant intent. That presents an obstacle to applying for a different visa that requires overcoming the presumption of immigrant intent

Neither L nor K visas require applicants to overcome the presumption of immigrant intent
