L1B under administrative processing since a month

Hi,
I had appeared for interview at cairo consulate for L1B visa with my wife on 19 Jul 2017, I recieved yellow slip for administrative processing. I have had 3 updates in case update date since then on 25th Jul, 5th aug and 7th aug. status: administrative processing. after that no updates? Is this common? does it mean they are working on my case?

Yes, it can take ~1 to 6 months for them to reply.
