L1A visa stamping

Hi All,

I came to US on L1B and recently converted to L1A and received I-797A form with valid visa dates till Jun'2019. I have to go for visa stamping in passport.

Now i wish to go to London to visit my family, will it be advisable to go to USCIS at London for L1A stamping?

Please let me know if any risk is involved

Heard that stamping at UK also good and one of my friend got 5 years stamping.
