I have searched the forum and could not find answer to this specific situation. My H1B is expiring in Feb and my employer is ready to file for L1A change of status. But it seems like you can not file COS to L1A if H1B doe snot have at least 6 months of validity. Is there a rule from USCIS that change of status to L1A must be filed before 6 months of H1B validity getting over? Please let me know.
