  • L1A to Green card: Interesting case

    Dear All,

I'm working in USA on L1 A visa.

I'm working for company A, recently company ‘B’ has purchased company ‘A’ ( all divisions worldwide). As my branch is not performing well, now company ‘B’ is selling only my branch to a brand new US based company ‘C’.

Company ‘A’ filed I140 (EB1-C: multi national manager) and AOS for me, will the application be still valid if I continue to work in the same position at same location but for company ‘C’ ? If I140 & I485 application in still valid, what additional documents should be submitted to USCIS?? If I140 & I485 application in not valid, on what visa status can I retain my position??

    Please advise.

    Thanks
