Amendment process for Dependent in L2

Hi All,

At Present I am in Illinois location with L1A Visa. My Wife have L2 Visa and she is planning to join Phd in a university which is located in another state. As per the University POC's email she can study in L2 Visa itself without converting into Student visa, So that she can work in university while studying. Immediately i cant move to other location now, I hope amendment process is applicable for me. Could you please anyone confirm whether my Wife has to do any amendment process to move and work in another location? Whether it is possible to move in L2 or need to convert it to student visa? Anyone please guide me.

On L2 it’s fine. It is not a pbm. It’s the same with us.
