L1A visa extension (Blanket or Individual)

Hello all,

I am currently undergoing L1A visa extension process with I94 expiring in Feb-2018. I wanted to take your advice on below point:

-> My previous L1A visa was blanket petition. So I wanted to understand which extension petition will be easier / faster -> blanket or individual?

Any advice will be really helpful. Thanks in advance.

Just spoke with my employer's immigration team. They mentioned that if I would have filed extension 6 months or so before, then they would have gone for blanket extension as then i could have visited Canada for consular visit and extension approval.
Since only 1 month or so is left before I94 expiry, now as per the policy, I cannot take blanket extension route and has to be individual petition.

Any similar experiences would be really helpful.
