  • New L1B after H1B expiry - Is it possible?

    Hi,
I am currently on the US on H1B VISA. My H1B would be expiring (6 years complete) in June this year. My company wants to file a new L1B after the expiry of my current VISA.

I have the following questions in this regard:
    1. Can a fresh L1 be filed immediately after the completion of H1 by the same employer?
    2. Would the response to previous query change, if there is a change of employer?
    3. Is there any restriction on Business VISA after the completion of H1?

There is no GC processing applicable in my case.

Thanks in advance for the responses!!!

For L1 you need to be working 1 year offshore for the same company, in last 3 years.

No new restriction, same limitations as of normal Business VISA.
