  • Help Needed - L1A EXTN in PP but I94 expired

    Hi All,

Appreciate an immediate help/ view points on my case. I am in dire situation, so any relevant experiences and thoughts would help a lot.

My I-94 expired on Feb 2nd and my L1A extension got filed in Premium in Jan 1st week along with L2 and EAD extension for my wife. Unfortunately, for some crazy reason my L1A packet was sent back twice citing lack of few pages and luckily it was refiled before the expiry date (case was refiled and received the package by USCIS on Feb 1st - a one day prior, which is a razor thin timing !).

    Here are my questions
    1. Given that USCIS has received my package just before the date of expiry, am I still considered with in status ?
    2. We did receive the EAD receipt notice, but with L1A being returned twice , now I am doubting if the EAD and L1A cases are even linked ? Is there a way the EAD and L1A cases can be linked ?
    2. Is there a general observation on L1A premium cases - like % of RFE, % denials, % approved?
    3. If I get a RFE on L1A, can I continue to work and so for how long?
    4. In RFE scenario and if EAD is not approved, can my wife still work beyond the date or she has to stop working?

    Appreciate your replies and opinions..

    Best..

You can continue working until you get rejection
