Hi,
I attended my L1B Individual Visa interview on 19th Jan 2018.
I was handed over a blue slip 221(G) document by the Visa Officer during the interview and he said I will be contacted by the Consulate for further details and put me on 'Administrative Processing'.
On 8th Feb 2018, I received an email from UsTravelDocs to collect my Passports.
In the Passport document there was 221(G) blue slip which further stated,
-> Please submit a cleared Indian Police certificate from the Regional Passport Office in CHENNAI (Chennai Underlined).
-> Please submit your passport at your nearest Visa Application Center.
Clarification Required :
I am a resident of Bangalore since Birth, and while I applied for a PCC through Passport Website, it directly scheduled an appointment at the Bangalore Passport Seva Kendra and I had no option to choose for Chennai.
1. Is it necessary for me to go to chennai and meet the RPO and get a PCC certificate ?
2. How can I gain access into RPO without any prior appointment ?
3. Should I also get PCC done for my Spouse ?
Thanks,
Arun
