Total Years Eligible on L1A post L1B

I was on L1B for 2 years and 6 months. I was in US without Gap. (Arrival US - 1/8/2014; Departure 6/30/2016). I was there in India for two months.
I applied for L1A VISA which got approved for three years (Valid till 7/4/2019)
Reached US on 9/28/2016 and am staying in US.

I need to reapply for L1A Extension. Need the help

1. Will the total 7 years on L1A include my 2 years and 6 months on L1B also? If yes my extension can only be for 1 year and 9 months.

2. If I will be on Office duty outside India for around 2 months (but not with dependent). Will the dependent stay (L2) for 7 years calculated based on their individual stay at US or is it based my duration of stay *L1A (which will include my non-resident at US for the mentioned 2 months.

Yes - but you do not need to specify the dates - they will do it.

L2 are dependent & will be counted based on your dates.

Were you get paid in USA while you were working in India for 2 months? If yes, then there is really no gap. If no, then those 2 months wont be counted.
