  • L1A Application - Previous Employment Letters

    Hi,

    I have been offered a position in our New York office (currently in London) & in the process of starting the L1A application. This would be for an executive position - not managerial.

    I was wondering if I needed to reach out to my previous employers for letters? I have worked in this company for just over a year and have been fully background checked.

    Is this mandatory - or can I get away submitting the professional background check that was done on me?

    Service / Experience Certificate

    You must submit Service Certificate of all your previous employment indicating your "RELEVANT experience" and "number of years of professional services" ...The executive position is higher than Manager therefore...your career progrssion year on year trend must by clearly visible.

    This is just my viewpoint ..not legal opinion.
