Friends please help me with some information. Submitted my docs as part of drop box on April 5 and case got initiated on April 9. Last update date is April 10. Still now ( till today)status showing is Administrative Processing. I did not get any 221g or have been asked for any adittional doc. Any one facing same situation ?
I am very concerned, please share some inputs.

am facing similar situation with my spouse. we applied for L2 visa extension and submitted all documents as part of Interview Waiver Program (Drop Box). And the status now reads 'Administrative processing'.

Yes, my case got updated on 27th, they had called me for finger print which I gave yesterday April 30. VO just took the finger print and informed my visa is approved. Now I am waiting for my passport.

So it took you around 20 days, right? When did you submit the documents at Dropbox?
How did they inform you about the fingerprints?

For benefit of all below is the timeline.
6th April - Submitted docs in Kolkata Embassy
9th April - case got initiated , last update date 10th April
11th April - Administrative Processing till 27th April.... didn't receive any 221g
Got to know that finger print is needed
30th April - Gave finger print.... no question asked. Last update date same
1st May - Status showed as "Application received"... last update same
2nd May - Administrative processing
3rd May - Visa issued
4th May - Final processing
Checked now and passport status says - preparing for delivery

Hope this helps. Remember if the last update date changes that means your case is progressing
