L2 Drop Box for kids /new born

Hi

I would need some guidance on drop box procedure for dependents on L2.

Recently I had my L1 extension approved and Stamping done through Drop box in Chennai . My dependent in India and is planning for the extension stamping using drop box ;

1) Can my spouse and kid ( 4 year ) apply for drop box at the same time or should my spouse get the visa stamped first and then process for my kid
I heard some rule that states for kids to go for drop box both the parents should process a valid stamped visa
2) My second kid is ( 4 months ) - can we do the drop box with my spouse

Any suggestions/answers would be much appreciated

No such rule, at least one parent need to have a visa - other can just give consent that he/she is fine having kid travel abroad.
