L2: i94 extension- due for expiry in 3 months

Hello,

My husband is in L1-A with i-797 valid untill 11/22/2019 and iam on dependent L2

Since my i94 is going to expire on 9/28/2018 as my old passport expires on the same date, i need to apply for extension.
My visa is valid untill 11/22/2019 as stated in passport.(i94 validity reduced to my passport expiry date.)

Currently i have renewed my passport and i got the new passport in hand.

Can i extend my i-94 based untill 11/22/2019 based on the new passport ?
If so what is the procedure to extend i-94 ?
Also how long it takes for the renewal?
