L2 Dependant Visa extension for child under 14 years in Mexico

Hi, I am on L1B visa currently living in USA and have to get my visa extension done in mexico. Can I schedule interview for my child along with me and take his passport to Mexico while he stays in USA? In that case how is the i94 of my child extended?

No. Your child has to be with you in Mexico in order to get a new L2 and entry USA with this new visa.

I did that with my children and they did not get their visas...

I did that with my children (left them in USA) and they did not get their visas...
