Hi,
My current I-94 expiry is Aug 09 2018. I should have been applied for L1-b extn. before 6 months of my I-94 expiry but i could not do it because of my employer response. That was a mistake. Now My company is in process of applying L1-B extn. My Company assured that they will file my L1-B extn. to USCIS, before my I-94 expiry(Aug 09 2018).
Is it legal to stay in USA for 240 days / till USCIS decision response on my L1-B extn application? Or I need to leave USA on Aug 09 2018?
I was heard a new rule about USCIS NTA on July 05 2018. Whether "stay in USA for 240 days / till USCIS decision response on my L1-B extn" rule is available still or it is cancelled because of new USCIS NTA rule released on July 05 2018? Kindly reply.
Thanks in advance,
Bala
