  • L1B Blanket Visa with Accident Case

    Hi All,

I am applying for L1b under a blanket petition from my employer. Unfortunately, I met with an accident last month July 2018 where a biker was hit by my car in a highway
It was a biker's mistake as he was crossing the road. He was hospitalized with injuries and I drove to close by the police station and explained the situation. Police have filed an FIR under IPC section 279 and 337. I got the copy of FIR and police have released my vehicle and me with a bail from 2 of my relatives in Police station.
Do I need to declare this DS160 form? If I declare this accident case what are the supporting documents should I carry for VISA interview as I have only FIR with me?
Your answers would certainly help as I need to schedule my interview in this month.

The easiest is to talk to the biker & ask him to take back the case.

On the other hand, It is better to mention the case along with the bail information you have.

Depends on which country you live in, you might want to get an NOC from police department to travel aboard.
