Changing jobs with L1

Hello,

I am currently on L1 visa and have already applied for a green card since last October (haven't received approval of i140 yet....).

Is it possible for me to change employers? I understand that the new employer would need to sponsor me for another visa (H1B?). If this is the case can this happen before Christmas?

If you change your employer, your GC application will be void.

You cannot file a new H1 now until 1st April 2019. Which will be approved by Sep 2019 & then you only can switch.

If you already have H1 visa approved, then yes you can switch right now.
