Study while on L1--Can someone please suggest??

Hi All,

I am on a L1-b visa and is valid till May 2020. I wanted to pursue my masters "ONLINE" and wondering if i can while on this visa status. Couple of questions below:

1. Can i study Full time while working on L-1?
2. What if i lose my job? Do i need to go back or can change of status to F-1? Can i do it here or do i need to go back get stamped and come again?
3. How about OPT? If i am pursuing my masters Online, will i be eligible for OPT?

Please help me understand and take the right decision.

1. As long as you are satisfying the basic condition of being on L1 (getting full time salary) - you can do online studies.
2. Never heard about L1 to F1 status change - but for an "ONLINE" course - I doubt that can be done.
3. No OPT for students on L1.
