Remote working when waiting for EAD on L2

Hi,

I am moving to the US on an L1A visa. My wife plans to join me there on an L2. She is currently employed outside the US by a company that has a legal entity in the US as well. My question is, if she moves to the US with an L2 and applies for my EAD immediately, can she continue to work remotely for her currently employer (not a legal US entity)? She intends to switch to the US legal entity after she gets her EAD.

Is there any legal documentation on the USCIS website that specifically says this is okay or not?

She can move along with you on her L2 visa. But she cannot work & get paid "in USA" until she gets her EAD.

She can continue to support her outside USA company & get salary there (not in Dollars).

But I would suggest to let he stay outside USA until she gets her EAD & then start working from USA. You don't want to have impact on your visa for some money.
