Separate interview for Family L1B-L2

Hello friends, i am looking for one clarification.

Is it possible to schedule separate interview for yourself(prime applicant L1B) and your family(L2) ? for some reason my family can't go during the time i am planning to go for PA.

Can they(wife and child) attend after 1-2 weeks ? will it have any impact on visa decision ?

and is it also possible to schedule family interview on a different US embassy.

Thats perfectly fine. They can attend the interview later & it won't have any impact on their visa, rather your visa approval will increase their visa chances to almost 100%.

Ideally the embassy to apply for visa is based on your current home location, not based on your choice.
