Transitting via US to Canada using H1 - Applying L1A

I have been working in Canada from past 1 year. 4 months ago I traveled from India to Canada via connecting flight from USA. I used my currently stamped H1B visa for transiting at the PoE in US airport and took the flight from US to Canada in 2/3 hours.

Now I am applying for L1A visa. My question is will this transit conflict with 1 year outside employment rule for L1A. Please help.

No. Since you did not "worked" & get paid in USA.

In reality you did not used your visa, rather misused H1B for transit purpose. Just keep record/proof of your entry & exit of that transit visit during the interview.
