Areas where applicant should be extra careful while applying for L1B Individual

Hi All,
I would request you to explain from your experiences upon areas where an applicant should be very careful while furnishing information to build a petition for L1B Individual particularly when the candidate has L1B Blanket refusal in past. I had an L1B Blanket refusal on account of section 221(g) of INA. Although VO mentioned that the scope for L1B Blanket is very narrow and application can be made for L1B Individual. But it seems the decision to clearly approve or not comes from an analysis done in the computer and often I have seen the decision is made before Interviewer asking any question. Could you please elaborate what are the factors that impact whether an L1B Individual Petition will be approved.

Yes, you are right, the decision is almost made before the interview - thats the reason, they rely on their our sources of information, rather the documents your carry for interview & usually do not check them.

For L1B, the visa is for specialized knowledge holder. So you need to prepare your supporting letter stating that you & only you are the person who holds certain knowledge which is required for the organization & that knowledge is not generic in nature, which can be acquired in schools. For example knowledge of some proprietary tools, processes etc.
