  • Request help on DS160 (US travel section) update after scheduling interview

    Hi,

The DS160 was submitted around a month ago (in October) and the L2 visa interview fee was also deposited then.

Recently, the interview date was also selected.

However, in the duration between DS160 submission and visa-interview, there is going to be a visit to US on B1 visa.

So, the information in DS160 pertaining to whether I have been to US previously (which previously I had marked as 'NO' at time of DS160 submission) now doesn't hold true, as I will have been to US when I come for my visa interview.

Kindly suggest how to get this information updated in DS160 and what will happen to the scheduled appointment.

If you have not "submitted" your DS160, you can still update it.

If submitted, you can create another DS160 & use that during the interview.
