  • Confused on l1b visa

    Hi,

I do have offer from other company.
My current organization is MNC and want to retain me with help of US visa.
    They gave me two options:
They will file l1 first if l1 got reject then they will file H1B in April around.
    Following background I do have:
    - I am b.sc in computer science.
    - I do have 8 years of experience in specific industry.
    - I am associated with this organization from last 4.8 years.
    - I do have specific knowledge of client software and client ready to give me a client letter.
    - My bonding with client is also good and client also want me to stay.

With all above conditions from education to experience what is my chance to get L1B?
    Please help me.

L1B visa is for specialized knowledge only - education, bonding & client letter has nothing to do with it.

Your total experience & knowledge seems sufficient to apply for L1B.

H1B is a long process, even if all things go well in first attempt then too you won't get H1B visa before Oct/Nov 2019.

I heard working on client location rejection is higher than intra company company transfer. Is it true???

Depends on the type of project. If you are doing some customization for that specific client, then you'll need to be at client location & that doesn't make it a chance of rejection.

However for any generic thing, which can be done remotely & you showing client location can raise a doubt.
