Apply for L2 and EAD while still on L1B

Hello,

My spouse and I both work in the US for separate employers and both with L1B visas. I am considering changing employers and was wondering if it is possible to apply for a L2 visa then an EAD as a dependent to my spouse all while still working for my current employer and still on my current L1B visa.

Does anyone have experience with this situation? Any advice is appreciated.
