  • L1A-B Rejection and Application of L1A-I

I had a L1A-Blanket rejection yesterday (30th November). The VO asked me 5 questions and after that told me to talk to my HR and apply in a different category. I can see that there is a NCA stamp in the 129S forms.

I have couple of questions in this regard

    1. What exactly is meant by the word ?different category? here?
    2. I am putting a L1A individual petition next. Is there any time gap I should keep before putting the individual petition?
    3. Do I need to keep the same role as like the L1A-Blanket petition or I can change it? Will there be any problem if I change the role in the L1A individual petition
    4. I am applying the L1A individual petition in a premium mode. As per my understanding premium processing only expedite the process in the USCIS which is 15 calendar days from the day USCIS receives the petition. Does it has any impact on the success rate also ?

    Thanks & Regards

NCA stands for Not Clearly Approvable. VO meant you to apply for L1A individual petiition.

Better to keep the same role, you never know - if they refer to your blanket application (its not a long time yet).

You are right, it only expedite the process - no impact on the outcome.
